Died on Saturday May 17, 2025 following a brief illness at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 66. Sylvia of Wasaga Beach, predeceased by her beloved husband Craig (2013) and her parents Oswald and Edith Einberg. Dear sister of Allan (Shirley) Einberg. Stepmother of Shannon and Colin Baldwin, sister-in-law of Rosalind (Herbert Warford), Carter (Susan Rankin), Darlene Arnold, Mary-Gloria Arnold and the late Raymond Arnold, Tommy Arnold and Dallas Reid. Sylvia will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews, her goddaughter Jasmine, her great nephew Jordan who she always shared big hugs with, her best friend Nancy Lester, Walter Celli, Franca Morini, her former colleagues at Walmart Wasaga Beach, her neighbours on Leo and her many friends. Sylvia had the purest of hearts. She exuded positivity, even during her illness. Whenever anyone needed to be uplifted, Sylvia was the person to do that, whether through words or one of her signature hugs. She was the light within the darkness for so many. Friends are invited to join her family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Monday May 26, 2025 from 12 noon for the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1 o’clock. Reception to follow. Entombment Wasaga Beach Cemetery. If desired, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by Sylvia’s family.
