With heavy and saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Assunta Capetola at the age of 86. Assunta is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Domenico, and her dear parents, Quirino and Francesca.
She was a warm and loving mother to Stefano (Lorraine), and a devoted grandmother to Stefanie (Akif), Sarah (Michael), and Domenic (Raquel). Assunta was also a proud and cherished great-grandmother to Sofia and Maya.
She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Annunziata, Erpinicia, Enzo, and Gabriele, along with extended family and friends whose lives she touched with kindness and grace.
Visitations for Assunta Capetola have been entrusted to DeMarco Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road, 905.850.9500). Wednesday, May 21 2025, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass Thursday, May 22, 2025 – 10:00 a.m. St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., Maple, ON). at a time yet to be confirmed, and an Entombment to follow Beechwood Cemetery 7241 Jane St., Concord, ON.
