Peacefully at Helen Henderson Care Centre, on Sunday May 11, 2025, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Allan Herbert Kirkland. Loving mother of Linda, Gary (Tracy), Dale (Regina), Karen (Brian McCann), Leslie (Dave Purdy), Terry (Darlene), Kevin (Vicky), Kim, Lori. Predeceased by daughters Kathy and Shirley Anne. Cherished grandmother of Chris, Amy, Katie, Dale Scott, Ryan, Amanda, Tyler K, Krista, Kayla, Jen, Krystal, Ashley, Olivia, Leah and Stevie, Tyler M, Jeanette, Kristen, Mallory, Anita and Michael. Treasured great grandmother of 23. She is survived by her siblings Barbara Powell (Earl deceased), Marvin Smith (Dorothy), Wayne Smith (Shirley), Donna Foley (Mick). Eleanor is predeceased by her parents Leslie and Ella Smith, siblings Alfred (Ann), Lucille Jeroy (Mike), Arnold (Heather).
Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince Street, Lansdowne on Wednesday May 14, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 3:00 pm.
