In Loving Memory of Gregg Porter
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gregg Porter on May 8, 2025. Gregg was a respected businessman, a cherished friend, and a man who lived life fully—whether on a hunting trip, enjoying happy hour, his love for cars or spending time with the people he loved most: his family.
Gregg was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Lily Porter, his brother Derek and his father-in-law, Stanley Dewling.
Left to mourn his passing are his beloved partner, Tanya, and his children: Daniel (Katie), Kyle (Yvonne), Brad (Tanya), Jacob, and Chloe (Nick). Gregg was a proud grandfather to Jack, Benjamin, Olivia, Kiera, and Ethan; Brother Rick; Sister Treena (Keith) and Niece Lilee; Mother in-law Stephanie Dewling; Sister in-law, Janice; Brothers in-law Todd (Gerri) and Jason; Nephews Nicholas, Dylan, Tyler, Kaiden and Joey.
He is also survived by his lifelong friend, Bill Butler, his loyal happy hour crew, and a wide circle of family, friends, and business associates.
Gregg will be dearly missed and forever loved by all who knew him.
Resting at Christ Anglican Church, Port Rexton
Visitation: Sunday , May 11, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm
Monday, May 12, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm
Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 2 pm with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Port Rexton.
