On April 7, 2025, Stephanie Lynn Cameron gained her wings in the presence of her mother Mary Lou, her Auntie Bev and good friend Tracy.
Steph, whose nickname was Noodle, was a fiercely independent, courageous and loving young woman. Her infectious smile brightened every room she entered. She treasured her many friends.
From an early age she endured numerous medical issues with strength and dignity. Steph enjoyed working with her loom to create beautiful blankets, dish cloths and pillows which she gifted to friends and family. She had a special relationship with the many pets in her life.
Stephanie is survived by her mother Mary Lou Cameron. She was predeceased by her father Gord Cameron. She is also survived by her siblings Londie, Adam and their families; aunts and uncles Bev, Janet, late Alfred, Natalie, Jim (Margaret) and Bruce (Tammy) as well as their families. Special mention to cousin Karen. She will be greatly missed by her fur babies Star, Nellie, Carly and Bonnie whom she loved dearly.
The family would like to express their gratitude for all the years of professional and compassionate care given by the medical teams at Sick Kids, Toronto General, Toronto Western and Princess Margaret Hospitals.
The support of Sensity Deafblind and Sensory Network and the many personal caregivers (you know who you are) who helped make Stephanie’s life complete. Special thanks to Jen, Nat and Julie.
Mary Lou wishes to express her gratitude for the love and support over the years from neighbours, friends and family who always go above and beyond.
Respecting her wishes, cremation will take place. There will be no visitation and no service. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Humane Society, Timmins Concert Singers or Timmins Symphony Orchestra will be greatly appreciated.
