Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of Linda Bennett announces her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre on Friday, April 18th, 2025 at the age of 52 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories is her husband Luke Bennett. Her mother Rachel Hutchings (Bruce), father and mother-in-law Willis & Beatrice Bennett . Sisters Marilyn Plowman, Phyllis Hutchings and Sherry Hutchings (Glenn), brother Freddy Hutchings (Lynn). Brothers-in-law Ronnie Bennett, Bruce Bennett, sister-in-law Kelly Batten ( Scott ).Nephews, Stephen Plowman ( Tiffany ) and Mark Bennett, nieces Tiffany Payne ( Dallas ), Bobbi Jo Bennett, Emma Batten and Lily Batten, great-nephews Dakota Caines ( Alley ), Bently Plowman, and Maddox Caines. Great-niece Ellie Payne. Also left to mourn are many family and friends.
Linda was predeceased by her daughter Renee Bennett, father Fred Hutchings, niece Samantha Plowman, nephews Gregory Bennett and Matthew Bennett, brother-in-law Roy Plowman.
Linda was not only a loving wife, she was a very strong person who enjoyed life and loved music. Linda always put others before herself and was a very loving person. Linda had a lot of love for her fur-babies:, TJ, Muff, Angel, Tigger, Precious and Rudy.
Visitation will take place from the Anglican church in St. Paul’s on Sunday, April 20th, 2025 from the hours of 7-9pm. Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. where also funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 2:00pm. With Rev. Terry Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot in the R.C cemetery, St. Paul’s.
