Robert Wayne Conrad of Mississauga, Ontario, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, April 7, 2025.
Born on January 7, 1948, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to the late Norman Conrad and Ethel Conrad (nee Ozon), Bob lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family and friends.
Bob will forever be cherished and deeply missed by his three children: Rob, Tracey (Wayne), and Tim Conrad. His legacy lives on in his beloved grandchildren: Braden, Owen, and Faythe Hoyte; Mason and Carter Noriega-Conrad; and his great-granddaughter, Meadow Halley. He is also survived by his sister Hattie Conrad and brother Donald Conrad of Halifax, Nova Scotia, his sister-in-law, Nancy Major, and countless friends from his cherished baseball community and neighbourhood.
Bob was predeceased by his dear wife, Susan-Jane Conrad, whom he missed immensely. Now, they will rest together eternally.
Bob loved anything baseball and hockey. He enjoyed bike rides with his beloved dog Daisy, we’ve never known anyone to love dogs quite like him. He loved his Sunday breakfasts at Angels and being promoted to “Great Grampy, not just Grampy,” a title he wore so proudly. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who was the pillar to our family.
Daddy, you will forever be our hero, we will live the rest of our lives to try and make you proud. We will miss you every minute of every day, until we meet again.
A celebration of Bob’s life will take place on Sunday, April 27, from 2-5:30pm (drop-in) at Ned Devine’s Irish Pub, 575 Ontario St S, Milton, ON L9T 2N2
