It is with great sadness that the family of Peggy Guigue (nee Carriere) announces the passing of their wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. On Thursday, February 27th, 2025, surrounded by her family, Peggy went to be with her late husband Gene.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband Gene (Eugene), son Wayne, chosen son Norm, and mother Evelyn. Predeceased also by siblings John Carriere and Gwen Vickers, and childhood friend Rosie.
Survived by her children, Sharyn Moore and son-in-law John (who she always referred to as My Son John), Bryan (Nina), and Wendy Grecco. Peggy leaves behind chosen son David, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was a Mother to so many and loved by all.
Special thanks to Dr. Shamim for his loving care, the Earth Angels at Ruddy Shenkman Hospice, Dr. Zayed, nurses, PSWs, and staff at Greystone Village, all who provided extraordinary care for Peggy.
A Memorial Service for Peggy will be held on Monday, March 10th, 2025, at 11:00am in the Chapel at Tubman Funeral Home Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road. Reception to follow. Peggy will be laid to rest privately at a later date.
