1950-2025
BYWATER, Diana Frances (nee Whynot), 74, of Halifax, passed away on
February 14, 2025, peacefully in her sleep at the Queen Elizabeth II
Hospital.
Daughter of Francis and Doris Whynot of Mahone Bay. Diana was a
dedicated legal properties secretary for almost 50 years before
retiring due to health reasons.
Her family would like to thank her daily caregivers and close friends
who provided support through visits and calls. Especially Alex who
supported both John and Diana over the many years as their
neighbour.
As per her wishes, she is to be cremated and a private interment
service later in the spring in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia.
She was predeceased by her husband John (Barry) Bywater of January
2024; her parents and her brother, Darrell. She is survived by her
stepsons, Derek and David Bywater, and her nephew Ryan.
