Mary Magdalene Naugle
January 30, 1954 – February 18, 2025
In Loving memory of a wonderful Wife, Mother, (Great) Nana, Sister, Aunt & Friend, Mary M Naugle who passed away unexpectedly on February 18th, 2025
Mary was born in New Glasgow was the daughter of Margaret ( Farrell ) & John Boutilier, & Dad who raised her like his own Mike Boutilier,
She is survived by 4 sister’s Catherine (Billy) Young Toronto, Cecelia (Sherry) Toronto, Margaret Catanzaro, Toronto. Theresa , BC, & One brother Johnny (Booty) deceased.
Mary was predeceased by her husband & love of her life , David R Naugle
Mary’s love for life was her 3 Daughters Tracey (Neil) Trisha Lee (Peter) and JennyLee (Shelby)
Her Grandchildren Dylan Rehburg (Taylor) David Rehburg (Kayleigh) Kirkland Rehburg , Hayden Morris, Chloe Morris & Ryder Morris
Marys pride & Joys of life was her Great Grandchildren Kinsley, Rowan , Her Heavenly Angel Baby Lainey And she was anxiously awaiting great grandbaby #4
Mary also had many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and always tried to keep in touch with. We all know how much mom loved the phone and when you saw her name come up you knew it was at least an hour conversation coming.
Mary was an employee at Hermes Electronics for many years. She had met so many wonderful people throughout her years there, and met many forever friends, Mary, had so many years of volunteering at the Buffalo club in Eastern passage, where she loved to go dance , sing and live her best life, Mary had a passion for music and when any of her favourite songs come on, she didn’t skip a beat, Conway Twitty was one of her very favourite singers.
Mary came to Eastern Passage very young where she made her life and called it home, you could often find her at MacCormacks Beach or anywhere by the ocean. She enjoyed the boardwalk, fisherman‘s Cove , the Cow Bay Moose, The Cow Bay Dyke, all of the most special spots with the most memories, there was nowhere in the world. Mom would rather live than here.
Mom had so many good people in her life that she talked to and kept her mind happy and occupied, people who never left her side, Uncle JJ (Joyce) Uncle Wilf (Youdle) Nancy Purdy, Our GodMother Diane York and so many others , Thank you to all of you for being great friends & Family
Mom was one of the most beautiful souls there ever was. She was kind, caring, compassionate, and she loved hard.
Mom was the type of person that if you needed it and she had it it was yours. She never had a lot, but she was always always kind and giving.
There wasn’t a person she met whose heart she didn’t touch in some way.
Her life had many ups and downs and she struggled with loss many days, but always got back up. She was a fighter and she was stronger than she ever thought she was.
When we were younger, mom always had all of our friends over, helping her make pies lasagna, and she always made all of our company feel like they were her own children. She took care of them. She loved them, and she gave them shoulder to cry if they needed.
In 2019 mom lost the love of her life. Every single day was hard for her. They were together almost 50 years. Mom didn’t really know anything else. She never really understood why he was taken from her when she needed him, but mom had faith in God and she knew he had a plan, mom is now with Dad again and we know now that she can rest, happy again!
Heavens gates opened wide on February 18 when she was called home and we know she was reunited by all the people she missed so much everyday and by one special little baby girl that she never had the chance to hold, Miss Baby Lainey Susan Rehburg her beautiful, Great grandbaby
We can take comfort, knowing that mom has her arms wrapped around her, giving her hugs and kisses from all of us!
Mom will be missed by so many , we will hold her memory in our hearts for a lifetime
Mom we love you yesterday , today ,tomorrow & Always
A few things your Mom may not have told you:
She loves you
more than herself.
She has watched you while
You were sleeping.
Every time you are upset
Her heart sinks.
You make her life meaningful.
She thinks you’re one in a billion.
You are the best thing that has ever
happened to her.
