The family of Noreen Reid are deeply saddened to announce her sudden passing on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the age of 95. Loving mother to Robin (Keith) and mother-in-law to Eveline. Cherished grandmother of Kyle (Brianna), Derek (Natalia) and Blake (Jessica). Proud great-grandmother of Jett, James and Evan. We take comfort in the fact that Noreen will now be reunited with those that predeceased her – her loving parents, three brothers, infant son Jimmy and sons David and Scott.
Noreen was known for being a generous, kind, gentle lady, but also someone who could be a bit feisty and who possessed a great sense of humour.
She also had a well known love affair with the colour purple (mauve), and was a lover of all things chocolate. We encourage you to have a piece of cake, or grab a handful of M&M’s in her honour!
Rest easy Mom/Grandma, we love you and will miss you deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke, or SickKids Hospital would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
