With great sadness, the family of Viola May Parlee announces her peaceful passing on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at her home in Penobsquis, NB. Viola was born in Youngs Cove Road, NB on April 25, 1928, the daughter of the late Raymond and Hazel (Lewis) Starkey.
Viola is survived by her daughter Sherry (Jeff) Parlee, chosen daughter Starla Logan; grandchildren, Michelle (Brent), Mark (Tammy), Sara (Bojan), Patricia (Robert); two great-grandsons, Gerry and Milan; sisters-in-law Yvonne (Donnie), Audrey (Egar) and Pauline; brother-in-law Walter Parlee; many nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends. May you “Rest in Peace”.
Predeceased by her husband Kenneth; parents Raymond and Hazel, children, Wayne, Gerry, and Frank; siblings, Bulea (Wilford), Dorothy (Lorne), Ken (Audey), Leland (Ruth), Ethel (Penny), Muriel (Mac), Helen (Jimmy) and twin Leola (Bill).
A graveside service will take place at a later date. Donations in Viola’s memory made to a charity of choice are appreciated.
