Obituary
With profound sadness and endless love, we share the passing of Adele Cortiula (nee Del Duca) at the age of 83 on Monday, February 3, 2025.
Born on April 29, 1941, in Terelle, Frosinone, Italy, Adele was the beloved daughter of the late Celestino and Genoveffa Del Duca.
Beloved wife of Vittorio Cortiula, cherished mother of Bruna Cortiula and Anna and her husband Ernie Pavan. She was a devoted and proud Nonna to Jacob and Rachel and her husband Dante. Dearest sister of Mario Del Duca and his wife Vicenza.
Adele passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth and presence will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Guests will be received at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd. E., Thornhill, Ontario) on Thursday, February 6, 2025, between 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. Funeral Mass at the Chapel of St. Joseph: Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home will take place on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 9:00 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
