In Loving
Memory of Gisèle Stuart
It is with profound
sadness and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of
Gisèle Stuart, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister,
aunt, and friend. On January 13, 2025, Gisèle entered into
the presence of her Saviour, surrounded by the love, songs, stories,
and prayers of her family.
Born in 1980,
Gisèle lived a life defined by unwavering faith, selfless
love, and a deep devotion to Jesus Christ. A born-again Christian, her
faith remained steadfast and unshakable throughout her life. Even as
she faced illness, her relationship with her Saviour grew stronger,
inspiring everyone around her.
On September 3, 2000,
she married the love of her life, Brad Stuart. Together, they built a
beautiful family, raising four cherished children: Benjamin, Samuel,
Josée, and Maëlle. Gisèle’s
greatest passion and legacy was her love for children. She poured her
heart into nurturing her own children and helping others, even at her
very lowest. Her love language was spending quality time together, and
she continued to create precious memories with her family and those
she cared for despite the challenges she faced.
Gisèle is
survived by her adoring parents, Normand and Raymonde Thibodeau, and
her loving siblings: Rachelle (Claude) Richard, Patrick (Rachel)
Thibodeau, Lisa (Kyle) Rodgers, and André Thibodeau. She is
also lovingly remembered by her parents-in-law, Jim and Zonya Stuart,
and her sister-in-law, Heidi Stuart (Susan McCormick).
Gisèle was a proud and loving aunt to Avah, Tyson, Micah,
Mya, Zachary, Isaiah, Xavier, Levi, Lucas, Ellie, Jessa, Timothy, and
Dax. Her family will forever treasure the countless memories,
laughter, and love they shared with her.
Even in her very short
time at the hospital, Gisèle managed to touch the hearts of
the nurses who cared for her, a true testament to her pure and
boundless love. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to
the incredible care provided by the medical professionals in
particular nurses Chantal, Trish, Margaret, and Jenna. Their kindness
and compassion brought immense comfort during such a difficult time.
Gisèle was
a beacon of hope, strength, and grace. Her compassionate spirit, love
for children, and dedication to her faith touched everyone she met.
Her legacy of love, kindness, and time well spent will live on in the
hearts of those who knew her.
The arrangements are
in the care of Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center. The
visitation, funeral service, and reception will all take place at
Hillside Church, located at 2290 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB. The
family will be receiving friends and relatives on Thursday, January
23, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the funeral service
beginning at 3:00 p.m., followed by a reception. Family and friends
are invited to gather and honor the incredible life she
lived.
