Obituary of Gladys Harvilla
In memory of our mother Gladys Mary Helen (Smith) Harvilla who gently passed away on December 17, 2024 in her 86th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Stephen Harvilla. She is survived and will be much missed by her 4 children Lillian Gill, Steven Harvilla, Linda Pickering and Catherine Cote along with her 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Gladys loved nothing better than to assist with her local church, community and neighbours and spent many hours during her retirement years enjoying the company of close friends and family. Her cheery disposition and home cooking will be missed.
A private ceremony for the interment of her ashes will be held Spring 2025 at the Mount Albert Cemetery. Precise date to be announced later.
In lieu of flowers, it was Gladys’ wish that any donations be made to her local Alliston Shelter for Women – My Sister’s Place.
