Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 9 2025 Judith De Medeiros, at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of 59 years of Antero De Medeiros. Proud mother of Louisa (Tony) Pileggi, Zenalia (Carlo) Vetere, Sandra (Paulo) Salgado, Susan (David) Ayres, and Tammy (Carlos) Teixeira. Cherished avo of Kayla, Andrea, Amanda, Hannah, Maria, Roman, late Dante, Zachary and Morgan. Dear sister in law of Hilda, Isaltina, Ernesto, Martin (Connie), Fatima (Louis), Joe (Mary), Geraldina (Joe) and Oliver (Yaima). Aunt Judy will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Predeceased by her parents Maria de Conceicao Soares and Manuel Amaral Jr. and her siblings Odilia, Maria de Luz (Virgilo), Diniz (Georgina), Conceicao (Ernesto), Jose, and Anibal, and her brother in law Manuel (Maria Eduarda).
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, January 13, from 6-9 o’clock. Prayers will be held at 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church, 10 Elm Street, on Tuesday morning, January 14 at 11 o’clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations to Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre c/o LHSF.ca would be appreciated.
