Louise Gamache
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the sudden death of Louise on Monday, January 6, 2025 at the age of 51. She was the devoted mother of Dominick Dunne who was the highlight of her life. She was the cherished daughter of Yvon and Fleurette Gamache, her big brother Robert (Nathalie Bourgon) and big sister Natalie Berry (Clint), also her nieces Vanessa (Sierra) and Emilie. Survived by her boyfriend Keith Hewett who brought her joy and love the last few months!! Louise worked for the past 29 years for her sister at Mid-Town Bowl. She was known for her infectious laughter, and her ability to cater and serve to the 55+ league and special needs customers. She loved spending time with family and her big circle of friends. She was deeply involved in her community, volunteering her time generously at bingo and various local initiatives. She was also a proud supporter and active participant in Pride with all their activities. Her love for animals was evident as she had a special way of connecting with them all. Whether she was playing games, laughing with friends, or dedicating her time to meaningful causes, Louise brought light and joy to those around her. Louise’s life, though too brief, was one filled with love, laughter, and purpose. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Timmins and District Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society. A funeral Mass to celebrate Louise’s incredible life will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11am from St-Dominique’s Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
