Sandra’s Obituary
SPURR, Sandra Helen ~ 72, of Nineveh, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023, with her daughters by her side. Sandra is survived by her partner, Bryne Waito, of Chester Basin; daughters, Doreen (Dean) Meisner of Nineveh; Marsha (Steve) Burbidge of Brickton; grandchildren, Travis (Rosanna) and Trevor (Brianna Maher) Meisner; Kaitlyn (Andrew Davidson) Naqitarvik; Melissa and Rebecca Burbidge; great grandchildren, Vanessa, Mackenzie and Katherine Meisner, Hailey, Hannah and Hunter Naqitarvik; sister, Patricia (Wayne) Allen; and brother, Irvin (Deborah) Spurr; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by grandmother, Helen Spurr; parents, Lewis and Audrey Spurr; and oldest brother, Philip Spurr. Sandra worked as an Accounting Clerk for Durland, Gillis, and Parker Law, as well as Parker, Richter Law Firm. Sandra’s biggest joy in life was spending time with her family. She had numerous hobbies, including knitting, tole painting, reading, and jigsaw puzzles. By her request cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial service. A private family graveside gathering will be held at the Nictaux Cemetery at a later date. Special thanks to the South Shore palliative care team and Victorian Order of Nurses for their care & compassion during this time.
