Obituary of Ross Stevens
It is with great sadness that the family of Ross Melvin Stevens announce his passing on February 2nd, 2023. Ross passed peacefully at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, at the age of 76.
Left to Mourn are his loving wife of 52 years, Jean. His children: Melissa (Derek), Donna (Colin), and Randy (Trudy). Grandchildren: Keith (Melissa), Danny (Amy), Tiffani-Ann (Jeremy), Tianna (Ryan), Mackenzie (Brandon), Summer-Lee, Kameron, Brandi and Krissy (Stephen). Great Grandchildren: Charlie, Caleb, Aurora, Raelyn, Deanna, Cole, Brody, Gideon, Kingsley and Kylo. In-laws; Annie, Marie, Violet, Donna (Brad), Linda (Curtis), Hubert (Winnie) Lloyd, Shawn (Patsy) and MaryEllen. We can’t forget his fur-babies, Jake and Molly. You would always find them perched in his lap or sitting at his feet waiting for their never-ending treats. He always made sure they ate before he did. Also left to mourn countless nieces and nephews that were very near and dear to his heart, many of which were like his own children to him. There are too many to name.
Predeceased by: Parents, Elijah and Elizabeth; siblings: Dora (Gus), Madeline (Tom), George and Bob.
A visitation will be held at Fillatres Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 from 7-9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at Bethel Pentecostal Church on Sunday, February 5th at 2p.m. officiated by Pastor Noble. Committal to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery.
