It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Norman Joseph (Stormin’ Norman) Fortin of Sudbury on Sunday May 21st at the age of 62.
With his warm smile and friendly manner, Norm made everyone around him feel special. He enjoyed watching all sports and would talk to anyone about the details of the last football game or NASCAR race. He loved playing poker and going to Las Vegas and Niagara Falls with his friend Chris.
We are very grateful for the staff at York Extendicare for their compassion and kindness throughout the years and for making him feel like an important part of their “5th Floor Family.”
Norm is predeceased by his parents Harris and Iona Fortin, and survived by sisters Laura (Rob) Sabovitch, Angela (Al) Gereghty, niece Megan and nephew Matt Gereghty.
