Schilling, Margarete;
Passed away on May 13, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital, in Kitchener, ON at the age of 92.
Beloved wife of Phillip, who predeceased Margarete in 1976.
Her family was her world. Cherished mother of Margaret (Peter), Frank (Marlene), Andrew (Jennifer), and Anita (Dave).
Loving grandmother Julie (Sean), Natalie, Steven (Jenny), Laura, David, Sarah (Caleb), Jason (Sabrina), Cassandra (Brett), and Jessica.
Great grandmother of Liam, Ailish, Locklann, Henrik, Anika, Amelia, Iain, Taylor, Hayden, and Emmy.
Predeceased by her siblings Aunt Liz (John), Aunt Anne (Henry), and Aunt Kay (John).
Margarete will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and her “sister” Mabel.
Margarete was a lifelong member of the Kitchener Schwaben Club.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Schwaben Club on Sunday, June 11, 2023 – time to be determined.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation – Cancer Centre, or any charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
