It is with great sadness that we announce that on March 23, 2023, Joyce Kilborn (nee Commerford) passed away peacefully with her family at her side in her 96th year.
Joyce is now reunited with her devoted husband Gordon (d. 1971). She was predeceased by her parents and five siblings.
Her love knew no bounds for her family. Beloved mother of two daughters, Luanne Cuthbertson (Mike Garde) and Chris Wellhauser (Garry), and a son, Jim Kilborn; loving grandmother to Jason, Jacinda (Jesse), Tyler, and Lynsay; and doting great-grandmother to Landon, Lucas, Lilia, William, and Samuel. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467. A private interment will be at a later date at Woodland Cemetery.
Because no one could deny that mom was a dog’s best friend, donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated as an expression of sympathy (cards available at the funeral home).
