Obituary of John E. “Jack” Hudson
Of St. Thomas, formerly of Belmont, ON, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in his 94th year. Husband of Thelma (née Silver) Hudson. Father of Paul Hudson, Doug Hudson (Kelly), John Hudson (Teri) and late (infant) Joan Elaine Hudson (1953). Grampie of Becky Girden (Dave), Jason Hudson, Megan Cobb (Jason), Chad Hudson (Kayla), Breann Malysz (Mario), and James Hudson. Brother of the late Beatrice Pastorious and the late Keith Hudson. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Born in London, ON, July 15, 1929, he was a son of the late Everett and Dorothy (née Whitcroft) Hudson. Jack formerly farmed in Belmont and was a former delivery person for Elgin Farm Supply, St. Thomas.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519) 631-1160. If so desired, memorial donations to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice will be appreciated.
