Henry Pomersbach, of Hanover, (formerly of Shelburne, ON) passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital in Hanover on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. He was 69.
Born on November 11, 1953 to the late Jan and Anna Pomersbach. After taking up residency in Toronto, Henry moved to Shelburne and then followed to Hanover. Henry was employed as a general labourer and enjoyed his work.
Henry was predeceased by his parents, and will be remembered by his brother Anthony “Tony” Pomersbach and by his sister Jean Davis, both of Toronto. He will be missed by his nephew Adam Pomersbach of Dundalk, his dear friend Elaine Eby of Holland Centre, and his other friends and neighbours. He had a wonderful sense of humour, and lived life to the fullest.
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and scattering of his ashes will occur at a later date.
Memorial donations to the World Vision Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
