After a short illness, Gord passed at the Ste Annes Hospital on May 8, 2023, at 79 years old.
Gord leaves to mourn his wife of 27 years, Roxanne. He was predeceased by Doreen (sister), Neil McMaster, Eunice McMaster (mother) and Gord Nicolas McMaster (father).
Also, his family Alan McMaster (brother), Robert McMaster (brother), Helen Dube (sister), Morris (passed), Hazel and Bob (sister and brother-in-law), Gene and Trudy McMaster (brother and sister-in-law), children Gord McMaster, Debra and grandchildren.
Gord worked for the City of Winnipeg water works for many years and worked the heavy equipment backhoe, and hyra unit. He started out in Charleswood and he finished his job there clearing underground.
He retired 16 years ago and enjoyed life far from the city. He enjoyed working on his car and running tractors on his acreage. He loved his dogs and cats and seeing the wildlife come through the property.
He is sorely missed by all who loved him and knew him. He kept to himself mostly. He loved the Lord Jesus and is in good hands.
A memorial of his life will be held in the future for close family.
