It is with broken hearts that the family of Floyd Edgar Williston, loving husband to Jessie (Smith) Williston, wish to announce his passing which occurred on April 20, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born June 21, 1938, Miramichi, NB, he was the son of the late Harrison and Jean (MacDonald) Williston.
He was mechanically inclined and appreciated everything that had a motor and wheels. He had worked with a host of construction companies and with Grove Construction. He will be remembered for his sincere Faith.
Besides his wife Jessie, he is survived by his sons, Darrell (Deborah) and Dwayne (Anne), his daughter Gwen Carmichael, his brother David (Sandra), grandchildren; Dena, Andy, Ben, Hanna, Dennis, Lane, Roslyn, Logan, Tara, and Gina, great-grandchildren; Morgan, Andrea, Stella, Ruby, Lucy, Alice, Indie, Esme, Laughlin, and Isla, his nieces Karla, and nephews Edgar, Terry, and Bradley.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Addison.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home on Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 25 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday April 26, 2023, at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
