Simon Rumbolt
January 9, 1962 – April 24, 2024
Simon, age 62, passed peacefully after a short time with cancer on April 24, 2024. Predeceased by Dad Ambrose, Mom Charlotte (Genneaux), sisters Augustine and Vonnie, Brother Bern and sister-in-law Nancy. Survived by sisters Theresa, Wanda (Garland), Ruby(Richard), Ismay (Jeff). Brothers Ambrose (Marion), Glen (Tina) and Nish. There are also a large circle of nephews and nieces.
Due to Mental Illness Simon spent the majority of his life in St. John’s being cared for by some fantastic people and organizations. Thanks can’t be expressed enough for the care he received.
Cremation took place in St. John’s NL. We will plan a service in the future taking him home to be with Mom and Dad.
Thanks you to Seb and Perfie for looking after the arrangements after Simon passed. We thank Kelly Rogers for checking on him while he was still living.
