James Bolger

James Bolger passed away peacefully Friday, May 31, 2024, aged 86 years, surrounded by his family at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit.
Predeceased by his parents Mary and Patrick Bolger; sisters Mary White (Hubert), Bridget Kehley (Sonny), Theresa Morey (Samual) and Agatha Price (Joseph); brothers Patrick Bolger (Marie) and George Bolger (Marion).
Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories his wife of 57 years, Ellen Bolger (Manning); daughters, Tina (Lorne) and Stephanie (Craig); sons James (Lisa) and Johnny (Colleen); grandchildren Kathryn, Victoria, Ella, Ashley, Danielle, Heather, Brittany, Spencer and Alicia; great grandchildren Brody and Colton; sisters Maureen Bolger (Hubert, deceased), Eleanor Lyons (Al, deceased), Marguerite Cameron (Dave) and Vivian Ridgely (James); brothers Gordon Bolger (Ann), Micheal Bolger (Cynthia, (partner), and wife Lilian, deceased); as well as a large circle of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The family wishes to thank the nursing staff of the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Hurley, his caregivers Sheila Miller and Patty Vandermark for all their care and attention given to James. Special thank you to the collaborative clinics and the community health nurses of Torbay.
James was a devoted electrician who lived in Torbay all his life. He was a proud caretaker of his flower garden and his family. He loved a great moose hunting season, spending his day watching reruns of his favourite movies and listening to VOWR. He had a great passion for living his life to his fullest and will live on through his beloved family members.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, TORBAY. Visitation on Monday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, at 11 a.m. from Holy Trinity Parish, Torbay.
