It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Field announce his sudden passing on March 7th, 2024 at the age of 83.
He is predeceased by his parents Jack and Mercedes Field, brothers Ralph, Hubert and Hal. Sisters Mary Elliott, Rose Clift, Madge Yeo, Alice Knight and Joan Field. Parents in law Robert and Viola Higdon and brothers in law Leo and Walter Higdon.
He leaves to mourn with loving memories his wife of 58 years Laura (Higdon), daughter Stephanie (Paul), son Michael (Julie), grandchildren Kendra, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Hal and Ronnie. Brothers in law Mervin (Bev) Higdon, Edgar (Julie)Higdon and sister in law Emily (Harry) Higdon and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family will be receiving friends at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Glenwood on Saturday, March 9th from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Cremation to follow. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 11th at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Father William Hearn, with interment will follow.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Ronald’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, P.O. Box 460, STN K, Toronto, ON. M4P 9Z9 or a Charity of One’s Choice.
