Passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Hospital, St. John’s on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 at the age of 65.
Predeceased by her son Dwight, parents Baxter and Juanita Gillingham, brothers Everett Gillingham, John Gillingham, Terry Gillingham, Gary Gillingham, brother-in-laws Cluny Gillingham, Michael Gillingham, Ross Tulk and Ray Hancott.
Left to mourn with loving memories are her husband Gerald, daughters Lisa Cakes (Jeremy), Stacey lee Diamond (Shawn), granddaughters Sierra Diamond, Hannah Cakes (Xavier), sisters Viola Gillingham (Kevin), Barbara Hancott, Brenda Paff (Wayne), brothers Barry (Carol), Dean (Netta), Craig (Kathleen), Christopher (Angela), Eric (Eunice), sister-in-laws Sandra Gillingham, Yvonne Burton Gillingham, Yvonne Pinsent Gillingham as well as many nephews, nieces and friends.
Cindy was the heart of the community of Noggin Cove. She was the town clerk for many years and also a member of the Recreation Committee. She loved and was loved by all who knew her.
Resting at Bethel Pentecostal Church, Carmanville on Saturday, March 16th from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, March 17th at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Cindy’s memory may be made to the family or a charity of one’s choice.
