It is with great sadness the family of Alvin Mouland announce his peaceful passing on March 1st, 2024 at James Paton Memorial Health Centre with his family by his side.
Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Jessie, brother Reg, sister’s Barbara Culhan and Christine,brother-in-law Ken Stead, baby brother Randy and nephew Dale Tippett.
Left to mourn with loving memories are his wife Bride, sons Perry (Dianne) of Bonavista, Glen (Paula) of Gander, brothers Terry (Elsie) of Mount Pearl, David (Diane) of Grand Falls-Windsor, brother-in-law Don Culhan of Ontario, sister-in-law Francine, grandchildren Jordan, Ryan, Kacie, Bradley, Jennifer, Brandon, Adrian, great-grandchildren Hunter, Rachael, Avander, Magnolia and a large circle of nephew and nieces, extended family and friends.
Through Alvin’s life he was Co-Commander of 31 Co. Canadian Rangers with 18 years of service, Maintenance Director of Bonavista Health Care Complex with 12 years of service, Environmental services Central Northeast Health Care for 15 years, President of the Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 7) Bonavista and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Gander Branch.
Family will be accepting friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander on Thursday, March 7th from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Funeral service will follow from the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date in Open Hall, Bonavista Bay.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Alvin’s memory may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
