John was always the best dressed at the party and stood 9 feet tall. It is with sadness and gratitude for John’s fun-loving nature that Sherry, his loving wife of 30 years, and his five treasured children Tova (Peter) Martin (Jordan, Maitland), Gwyn (Jason) Tremblay (Lance, Spencer, Ethan), Tamara Knight (Taylor, Tate, Hunter), Nicole (Andrew) Bedford, and Mark Knight (Kaitlyn); 2 great grandchildren; and his brother, Gordon (Kathi), say goodbye. John is predeceased by parents Bertrum and Winnifred Knight; and sister Barbara Ferguson. John was born and raised in Calgary, AB. Coca-Cola ultimately transferred him and his young family to Regina in 1981. It didn’t take long for him to fall in love with his new hometown, even though he stayed a Stampeders fan. Being an active member in his Church, Regina Exhibition Association, RRRC, and Grey Matter magazine endeared him to his many friends he referred to as family. John loved everything 50’s!

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 550 Sangster Boulevard, Regina, SK on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
