Ardill, Valerie Eleanor (nee Morton)
Peacefully passes away at her home in Holland Landing on Friday, December 1, 2023 at the age of 77 years. Valerie leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Grant Ardill. Loving mother of John-David (Blair) and Jo-Ann (Paul) and her adopted son Ollie. She will be missed by her extended family and her many friends, especially Lynn McAllister and the Stove Huggers Gang in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Valerie was employed by Bell Canada for over 30 years, retiring as a manager in the Assignment Department. She loved sewing, especially if it was for the Holland Landing Fire Department and the Sutton Fair. Ever thankful for the loving care from the great PSWs she had, especially April, Michelle, Joan, Vivian, Janice and Lillian. At Valerie’s request there will be no service. Memorial donations to Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind would be appreciated. Cremation. Arrangements in care of the Forrest and Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton. Memorial condolences may be made at www.forrestandtaylor.com
“Please do not send flowers as I cannot see them. Do not cry because I cannot hear you. Just remember me every time you have a NASCAR shirt on or are watching a NASCAR race. Just think of me, being there with you.”
