Ian passed away on Thursday, February 29th, 2024 at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa. Dear son of the late Jack and Margery Colman and son-in-law of the late John and Alice Corbett. Beloved husband of Arlene Colman for over 60 years. Cherished father of Wayne (Julie) and Kelly. Proud grandfather of Bombardier Brook-lynn Byrne. Brother of David Colman; brother-in-law of Eileen, Marika, John, Maureen and Marilyn. Ian will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ian was a life-member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Past President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #238 Fenelon Falls, avid soccer fan and Blackpool and Manchester United fan. Many thanks to caregivers and support services during this difficult time. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Fenelon Falls at a later date. Donations in memory of Ian to Canadian Lung Association (lung.ca/donate) would be appreciated. Cremation arrangements entrusted to McIntosh-Anderson-Kellam Funeral Home Ltd., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). Online condolences may be shared at makfuneralhome.com.
