Obituary of Claude Owen Laing
Claude Laing 71, of North York, died January 26th, 2024, at Downsview Long Term Care Center. He was born on September, 30th, 1952, to Aman & Imogene Laing in Kingston, Jamaica, and has seven siblings; Annette, Lizzy and Cleve also known as Stitchie. Sadly the other four have passed away.Claude has two sons Kingsley (Dwayne) and Shamar Laing as well as 3 grandchildren. He worked as a general laborer for most of his life, and also had a hobby of freestyling to reggae and gospel soundtracks. He was an avid Nollywood fan and enjoyed listening to gospel and reggae music.
Visitation will be February 17th, @10am at Faith Miracle Temple, 2 Nobert Road, Scarbrough,ON
Funeral services will be February 17th,@11am at Faith Miracle Temple, 2 Nobert Road, Scarborough ON with Pastor Mark Anthony Baxter officiating.
Interment will follow at BeechWood Cemetery, 7241 Jane St, Concord,ON
Pallbearers will be Shamar Laing, Dwayne Laing,Mark Headly,Leon McFarlane, Sylvan Parkes & Micaiah Thomas.
