Albert “Alby” Jackson Bishop
Born on February 27, 2001, in Mississauga, passed away suddenly at his home in Kitchener on June 12, 2024 at the young age of 23. A beacon of light and joy, Alby lived a life that inspired all who knew him.
From early on, Alby demonstrated a unique zest for life. He attended Eastwood Collegiate Institute from 2015 to 2019, where he immersed himself in activities that allowed his vibrant personality to shine. His love for dancing, singing, and performing was not just a hobby but a testament to his dedication to bringing joy to others.
Alby is the beloved son of Lisa and Albert SR Bishop and the cherished brother of Brianna Bishop. His family, including his deceased papa Jack Bishop, grandparents Ruby Symchyck, Mary and Frank Petrie, aunt Diane Petrie and Judy Bishop, uncle Johnny and Aunt Susie Whitelaw. Beloved cousin to Bailey Robertson, Megan and Nick Rowsell, Noah and Hailey Tremblett and great- uncle Fred and great-aunt Michele Tremblett and many other aunts, uncles, cousin and friends, remember him for his boundless energy and selfless spirit.
Alby’s life, though short, was filled with moments of greatness, kindness, and endless love. He continually strived to make the world brighter and happier, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and inspiration. His memory will continue to inspire those who knew him to live life with the same passion and kindness that Alby embodied every day.
Alby’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024 and from 2:00 p.m.-3:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the chapel on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Reception to follow.
