Andreas “Andy” Gross 1962 – 2023
It is with broken hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Andy. He passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Welland Hospital on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the age of 60.
Forever loved and missed by wife Kim Waddell and their “fur son” Tiny. Dear brother of Sylvia Leppert (Jeff). Cherished uncle of Stephanie Miller (Timothy) and Matthew Leppert. Cherished great uncle of Ellie Miller. Forever missed by extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Hugo and Elisabeth Gross. Andy will also be greatly missed by his close friends Marj and Cyril, Alan and Wayne, Keith and Joanne, Ced and Leslie, “Murph” and the entire VW community.
Andy was a Volkswagen enthusiast belonging to Facebook groups VW Gang and 4 Cylinder VW Piston Heads. He was an avid lover of Disney and golfing in Myrtle Beach.
Family and friends will be received at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Thursday, November 2nd from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, November 3rd beginning at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

His happy go lucky personality, friendliness, commitment to caring for you and our well observed ???? love he had for you is noteworthy and admired. As you journey through the next several months and years know that I will always be there if you need a listening ear. Thank you for sharing this great man with me and for your friendship. Andy may you rest in peace knowing your Kim is one strong and amazing woman and i believe you gave her so many happy and loving moments.
