Passed away at The Carpenter Hospice, on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husbands Leonard Olynyk (1990) and Pietro “Peter” DeMacio (2015). Loved and cherished mother of “Her Girls” Sharon (John) Davidson and Lorri-Ann (Kerry) Pountney. Proud Grandma of their children Heather, Michael, Ryan, Karleigh, Lauren and Christine. Extra special Nonni to Emma, Madelyn and Jack. Survived by her son Len (Cindy) and their children David and Nicholas. Great grandmother of Hannah and Calder. Loved cousin of Judy Morley. Special thanks to Rick Giuliani, Dr. Ann Huang and the Carpenter Hospice for their care and compassion. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 3 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Private family interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
