GIBSON – Dean. It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the sudden passing of Dean Gibson on October 26, 2023 in his 53rd year.
Best friend and soulmate to Sheri Gibson (Trahan). Cherished son to Doreen McLennan (Norm), father Ivan Gibson (predeceased), and stepfather Allan McLennan (predeceased). Beloved brother of Raymond Gibson (Lisa), Diane Fraser (Brent), Kevin McLennan (Stephanie) and stepsister Tammie Jefferies (Dale). Treasured uncle to Crystal (Ryan), Mandie, Matthew (Peyton), Trevor, Megan, Shannon (Mason), Dawn, Tyler, Carter, Brianna, Cameron, Trenton, Austin and Brayden. Great uncle to Harper, Matthew, Tegan, Hazel and Lily.
Dean’s greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and friends, whether it was playing weekly bingo, his backyard fires or hosting the annual August long Weekend. Dean was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending his time hunting, fishing and camping. He will always be remembered fondly for his unlimited patience, for being a father figure who was always there to offer advice, guidance, a shoulder to lean on or his infamous “Uncle Dean “speeches.
