It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Diana who passed away peacefully in her sleep at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at the age of 80. Devoted wife to Martin Zimber with whom she has been lovingly married for over 40 happy years. Cherished mother to Leigh (Mark Firmin) Miller of the United Kingdom and Dan (Kate) Miller of Ancaster. Proud grandmother to Evan, Ben, Tash and Abi.
Fondly remembered by her brothers Tim and Peter Hern.
Forever in the hearts of her extended family and friends across Canada and the United Kingdom. Predeceased by her parents Allan and Elizabeth Hern (nee Gorman) and eldest brother Riley.
Diana may be gone from this world; however, she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched during her lifetime and will always be remembered for her smile, her music and tie-dyed shirts.
As per Diana’s wishes, and those of her family, a private cremation has taken place. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
