GERALD MICHAEL WALSH
April 28, 1946 – February 22, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald Walsh of Osceola, on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Hospice Renfrew, at the age of 77 years. Gerald was a lifelong farmer, auctioneer, machinery dealer, and agent for livestock handling equipment at Walsh’s Livestock & Auctions. He leaves behind Barb and a step-family of three Ronnie Selle (Tammy), Laurie (Toby Findlay), Wendy (David Cantu) and grandchildren Jocelyn Selle ( fiance John Ferguson), Corey Selle, Braydon McEnroe, Tyler McEnroe (deceased 2012), Natalie and Nicholas Cantu. Also, a sister Florence Lynch (John), brother Brian Walsh (Sharon), nephews Tim Lynch (Teresa) Darcy Lynch (Jen) and Brady Walsh. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Mamie Walsh (nee Durack), brother Kevin Walsh. Friends and family may call at the Fraser – Morris & Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9pm and on Thursday from 9:30 until 10:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pius V Roman Catholic Church, Osceola Thursday at 11am. Spring Interment St. Pius V Roman Catholic Cemetery Osceola. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Renfrew, or Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
