It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Angela who passed away at Juravinski Hospital, on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the age of 84. Reunited with her beloved husband Matteo Manzella whom she was married to for almost 40 years before his passing in 2000. Cherished mother to Matthew (Lani) Manzella of Mississauga and Enza (Gino) Ciampaglia of Hamilton. Proud Nonna to Bridget, Marco, Anthony and Cristina. Always remembered by her brothers and sisters Serafina (the late Mario) Manzella, Salvatore (Mary Grace) Saputo and Tom Saputo. Forever in the hearts of her many extended nieces, nephews, family and friends across Canada, the US and Italy. Predeceased by her parents Vito and Grazia Saputo (nee Cottone) as well as her brothers and sisters in law Maria (Joe) Galletti, Vincenzo (Domenica “Mimma”) Manzella, Giuseppina (surviving spouse Carlo) Caruso and Vincenza (Salvatore) Pirrone. Angela may be gone from this world; however, she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched during her lifetime. A special thank you to all the staff at Juravinski Hospital (especially the Hematology department) for their outstanding care and compassion shown towards Angela and her entire family. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Thursday April 18, 2024 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church, (400 Pottruff Road, the corner of Barton and Nash, Hamilton) on Friday April 19, 2024 at 10am.
