Nickerson, Patricia Valerie – 78, of Bayside Home, formerly of Clam Point. Passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024 at Bayside Home. Born in Halifax on December 6, 1945 she was a daughter of the late James and Dolly (LaRue) Duffy. Patricia is survived by her sons, Harry James (Gail) of Tusket; Erroll of Digby and Dale Stewart of Shelburne; daughter, Gail of Clam Point; granddaughters, Kaitlin (Avery) of Yarmouth and Hailey of Alberta; siblings, Susan (Tom) Gillespie of Enfield; Janice (Duffy) of Irvine, California, Philip Duffy of Stewiacke and Mark (Elaine) Duffy of Minesville. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Harry; siblings, Ronnie and Dugie. Patricia worked a short period of time at the Halifax Infirmary in house cleaning. She enjoyed watching the Walton’s and also enjoyed watching Jeopardy and the Price is Right. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. No visitation requested by Patricia as cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a late date. Memorial donations may be made to any charity of choice.
