Obituary of David John Stevens
It is with great sadness that the family of David John Stevens announces his passing, which occurred on September 27, 2023 at his residence in Springdale, NB. Born in Saint John on January 18, 1951, he was a son of the Late Leonard and Greta (Laird) Stevens.
David is survived by his children: Krista (Joseph) Lavoie of Jemseg, Melissa (Randy) Stevens of New Line, and Jeremy (Heather) Stevens of Apohaqui; his grandchildren: Justus (Rebecca), Brandon, Jody, Kobe, Jolaine, Broc, Ethan, Jeremy, Bethany, Braxston, and Hailey; his great-grandchildren: Jaxson, Bennett, Joey, and Delilah; his brothers, Kenneth Stevens, Dale (Sheila) Stevens, Lloyd Stevens, and sister, Dianne (William) Tabor. David is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, David was predeceased by his brothers: Douglas and Gary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Dr., Sus, NB (506-433-1176), from where a visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 4, from 10am-12pm. A celebration of David’s life will follow the visitation at 1:00pm from the Wallace Community Chapel.
Donations in memory of David may be made to the Lung Association, Heart & Stroke or a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through wallacefuneralhome.com.
