It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Donald Emile Cormier of Grand-Barachois, after a hard-fought battle with cancer on October 20th, 2023.
Born on July 4th, 1955, he was the son of Emile and Dina (Leger) Cormier.
He will be missed deeply by his partner and soul mate, Connie Cormier (Pothier). His passing is mourned by his daughter, Rachelle Carrier (Matthew) of Grand-Barachois; his sons: Andrew Hadfield (Sherry) of St-Antoine and Thomas Hadfield (Amanda Jean, A.J.) of Sackville; his much-loved grandchildren: Katie, Joshua, Nikolas, Alex and Madison. He also he leaves behind his in-laws: Midge and Leonard Pothier, his sister-in-law, Donna of Shemogue, NB; his brothers-in-law: Ernest (Debbie) of Quispamsis, NB, Rusty (Gaetane) of Airdrie, Alberta and Roger (Janet) of Rhines Creek, NS, as well as many nieces, nephews, many cousins near and far, all his family in the USA. He will also be missed by his life long friend, Olivier Goguen (Sandra Power) of Grand-Barachois and by his fur babies Peanut and Pupper.
He is predeceased by his parents; his adopted sister, Therese (late Raymond, Bozo) LeBlanc.
A special thanks to Nadine and everyone at Extra-Mural and everyone at George Dumont “Oncology” for all your help and support for Donald, it was much appreciated.

A time to celebrate Donald’s life will be held from Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, (506) 532-1050, on Friday, October 27th, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm.
