In Loving Memory of Joseph “Joe” P. Holland
1968 – 2024
Joseph “Joe” Patrick Holland of Black River Bridge, NB, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the age of 55.
Born in Chatham, NB, on November 28, 1968, he was the son of the late Austin “Buddy” and Patricia (Murdoch) Holland. Joe worked as a Striping Supervisor for the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure.
Joe is survived by his wife Joyce (Dick) Holland; two sons: Jeremy Holland (Jessica) of Black River Bridge, and Jordan Holland (Stacy) of Glenwood; chosen daughter, Kamryn Nowlan (AKA Gertie) of Redmondville; mother-in-law, Dorothy Dick of Black River Bridge; one grandchild, Austin Patrick; and five chosen grandchildren: Bree, Mandy, Anna-Belle, Charlie, and Zack; sister, Susan Holland (Terry) of Glenwood; as well as his large extended family from DTI. He was predeceased by his parents and father-in-law, George Dick.
As per Joe’s request, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will occur at St. Stephen’s United Church, 7970 Route 117, Black River Bridge on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, at 1 PM, with The Reverend David Allan officiating. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Stephen’s United Church would be appreciated by the family.
