Yvon Melanson
1947-2023
Yvon Melanson, 76, of Saint-Antione passed away peacefully, surrounded
by his family at the Foyer Saint-Antoine on Saturday September 30,
2023. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Alfred and the
late Hermilia (Collette) Melanson.
He will be sadly missed by his five children; Tina Melanson (Shawn) of
Shediac, Cassandra Melanson of Moncton, Nicole McGrath (Keith) of
Bouctouche Cove, Mathieu Breau of Saint-Antoine, Bernard Comeau of
Bouctouche and his four grandchildren; Lila, Martin, Arielle and
Matheo. He also leaves to mourn his three sisters; Andréa
Petitpas (Armand) of Dieppe, Lucie Connell (Terry) of Edmonton, AB,
Denyse Melanson of Dieppe, Gerald (Bernadette) of Bouctouche Sud and
several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one sister; Alfreda and three brother; Roger
(2019) as well as Gerard and Fidèle in infancy.
A funeral service will be held at the Grace Church, Girouardville Rd,
Bouctouche on Saturday October 7, 2023 at 11:00 am.
In Yvon’s memory, donations may be made to the family.
