Obituary For Elizabeth “Betty” Louise Lindblom
November 13, 1962 – October 11, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Lindblom, after a short battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital with family by her side. Betty was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, friend to many and favourite Aunt.
Betty graduated high school in High Level, Alberta and attended college in Fairview where she received her Secretarial Certificate. She married Clarence Lindblom on April 10, 1982, and moved to Grande Prairie. Betty worked at Pat’s Auto Supply for over 30 years, she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and co-workers.
Betty will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Nichole Lindblom, her son Jordan Lindblom (Sarah), her grandchildren Ellianna and Asher, her mother Ada McMullan, her sisters Lesley Young, Janice Lanti (Jay), Margaret Mazurkewich (Jason), her brothers Greg McMullan (Cecilia), Bill McMullan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and the father of her children Clarence Lindblom (Lois).
She was pre-deceased by her father George McMullan.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held on Thursday, October 19th, 2023 at 1pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home (11802 99 Avenue in Grande Prairie, Alberta)
