It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Pritpal Singh Nijjar on April 16th, 2024 – at the young age of 49 years old.
Pritpal was born in Massanian, Punjab on May 22nd, 1974 to the late Bakshish Singh Nijjar and late Mohinder Kaur Nijjar.
Pritpal was a beloved and devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, friend, and colleague. He is survived by his wife Gurjit, three children Gurleen, Simarpreet, Jasleen, two siblings Harjinder and Harminder, and his precious companion Prince.
He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, caring and witty personality, his calmness and big heart.
Funeral Services will be held COUNTRY HILLS CREMATORIUM & FUNERAL SERVICES (11995 16th Street NE, Calgary, AB, T3K 0S9) on Sunday April 21, 2024 at 3:00 PM. Followed by Antam Ardaas will follow at 5:00 pm at the Calgary Dashmesh Cultural Center.
