Surrounded by her family, Anne passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of 66 years to Robert Dannecker.
Loving mother of Chuck (Pat) Dannecker and Denis (Lori) Dannecker.
Cherished grandma to Brock (Whitley), Vince, Kayla (Rob) and GG to Aubrey, Aiden, and Brianna.
Daughter of the late William and Louisa Nowak. Anne was born and grew up on a farm in St. Agatha along with her ten siblings.
Anne and Bob attended St. Anthony Daniel RC Church for many years.
She was a volunteer with Ayr Curling Club, KW Oktoberfest and the Huron County Playhouse. Anne and Bob enjoyed sunsets at their cottage for 40 years in Grand Bend where she also took pride in her gardening. Anne was an avid traveler and the life of the party.
When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me. I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little-but not too long, and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me-but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take, and each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the Master’s Plan, a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the friends we know.
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, Miss me-but let me go.

Masks are requested by the family to be worn at both the funeral home and church.
Anne’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 4-6pm.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony Daniel RC Church, 29 Midland Dr, Kitchener on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 11am. Private interment at Memory Gardens at a later date. For those unable to attend, her service can be viewed via livestream at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the KW Humane Society or the Anselma House c/o Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
